Since its establishment, the bank has continuously been involved in contributing back to society, especially through corporate responsibility initiatives targeting the overall society, the general public, and environmental conservation. Global IME Bank is guided by not just bridging communities but also giving back to the Nepalese people. The bank views its corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a means of strengthening the surrounding communities that it endeavors to serve. This ethos is reflected in the proactive initiatives taken by the bank. The theme and nature of these activities are based on the community assessment. For this, the bank has set up a dedicated committee chaired by the senior deputy chief executive officer.
